If you have been in a cave the past two weeks, I don’t know how your reading this, but that’s not the point. The point is that the Olympics is still going strong, even as I write this I am watching the Canada vs. France bronze medal game in women’s soccer, hopefully Canada can snag their 15th medal of this summer Olympics. After their controversial loss the best they can hope for is getting a bronze, which is still an amazing achievement.

Now the Olympics has…. GOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL! Sorry about that, but Canada just scored in extra time against France to win bronze in soccer.

Anyways what was I saying? Ah, yes… The Olympics are great and showcase the talent of all the countries in the world, some less the others. Canada had a total of 277 athletes in these Olympics when countries with lower populations like Australia who sent 410 athletes to the games. Come on Canada, give our athletes more money so we can have a bigger presence at these games!

Canada is now at 15 medals which is three short of what we had in Beijing (18) with just three days left in the Olympics hopefully we can snag another gold or pass what we had in Beijing.
